We all know Guimaras as the source of the best mangoes in the world while it's rustic towns and pristine, relatively untouched beaches rival the best in the Visayas area. Just across it, Iloilo boasts of the best seafood trip you can ever imagine with the famous Tatoy's and Marina just waiting for the hungry traveller. These "WOW Philippines" destinations are now threatened because of the incompetence and negligence of two companies that spilled millions of litres of oil. While there's an effort by Petron to clean-up their mess, they have not fully accepted the responsibility and instead put the blame on Solar 1. I plead everyone to support the effort to pressure Petron to accept it's legal and moral responsibility to the people of Guimaras and it's surrounding provinces. Let's act together and save Guimaras before it becomes just another one of those victims left for dead by the greedy businessman.
